         What Do You Receive With Your Slide Scanning to  CD / DVD

• All your slides are air and brush dusted before scanning to remove loose dust and hairs.
   
• We scan at an incredibly high 3000 dpi !! that is the equivalent of an 10 Megapixel digital camera image. We scan at this high rate to give you best detail and the ability to zoom in and crop your image. So many other operators scan at tiny dpi rates which mean you are loosing valuable information and cannot zoom in. With the HD Television becoming popular these high DPI rates are a must if you want to view your images on the large screen.  If your going to all this trouble to get it done, lets do it right!
   
• We supply your images in High quality “JPEG” format just like modern digital cameras. However you can also have them supplied in “Tiff” format just remember these files are very large and a lot more discs are required so extra charges do apply, ring for a quote
   
• We refuse to use Digital ice dust removal software. We trialled this labour saving option but found whilst it removed some dust it also removed fine details from the image and softened many images. Instead a trained operator manually removes the obvious and large dust & hairs from your image in Photoshop leaving it as precise and original as possible.
   
• All slides are colour corrected via our scanning software and also adjusted by our trained operator to restore slides with colour or intensity problems. For slides with major discolouration we work on a
  “fair go” principle so if up to 25% of your slides are badly discolored we will  still restore them at no extra charge however if more than 25% need restoring extra charges may apply we will always contact  you before any extra charges are made.
   
•  We direct print label your CD/ DVD with black text of your choice and supply it in clear plastic case
   
• We burn your images using only Verbatim CD/DVD  disks at a slow burn speed to ensure long term reliability.
